Do I need to have sewing experience?

No, You do not have to have any experience in sewing or crafting to take individual classes, sewing 101 or any crafting events.

Intermediate sewing and stretch sewing classes do require some knowledge of sewing. You can sign up for a FREE introductory class to take a sewing test and find out what program is right for you

Do I need to own a sewing machine?

No, you do not need to own your own machine.

If I have one I want to learn more about, can I bring my own Sewing Machine?

Yes, you can bring your own machine. I told you SEW does have a variety of sewing machines and equipment for you to use but if you would like to bring your own you are more than welcome to

Who Provides fabrics and supplies?

For general sewing lessons I told you SEW can provide practice fabric as well as sewing machines, thread and any notions. If you would like to work on a specific project in your classes you may have to provide materials and a pattern depending on what you want to make.

For upcycling classes students are asked to bring items to transform into new things as upcycling is all about reusing things instead of throwing them away. I told you SEW will provide some supplies as well as sewing machines, thread, notions and anything specific to the project.

If you are required to bring anything supply lists will be sent out with your class confirmation

What is your rescheduling or cancellation policy?

Individual classes can be rescheduled or canceled as long as Amy is contacted by 2 hours prior to your class time. It is your choice if you would like your money refunded or if you would like to move your class to a later date. No shows with no contact will not be refunded

Group Classes can not be rescheduled unless everyone in the class can not be there. You can cancel as long as Amy is contacted 2 hours prior to your class time. Again you can choose to get your money back or use it as a credit for another event.

If Amy needs to reschedule for any reason you will be fully refunded
